The actress at the start looks a lot like Margot Robbie.
She's Samara Weaving - I've heard her name, though I'm not sure if I've seen her in anything
Okay, this is a long awkward pause.
Normally the title would show up. (Also, Ghostface is unmasking - guessing this is a fakeout)
I recognize Tony Revolori.
Ghostface's mask looks older - not sure if they're referencing Halloween (2018).
With Ghostface saying "who gives a fuck about movies?", that feels like a statement that this is going to be a different kind of Ghostface.
The psychologist (psychiatrist?) sounds familiar.
He was Kittredge in Mission Impossible.
Okay, Sam, maybe you shouldn't be so specific.
That guy (Frankie) is 100% a rapist. (Or at least eager to take advantage of drunk women)
The line about "you have to let me go" feels much worse after Sam's actress was fired for social media posts calling out Israel's actions in Palestine despite being in the right by all appearances.
Quinn is 100% a Ghostface. (She made a comment "after we lost my brother" and Sam is being tormented by a social media campaign demonizing her for killing Richie)
Guessing her brother is Richie and she's seeking to avenge him by killing Sam and Tara. (Since he's the only male killer that Sam and Tara interacted with)
Jenna Ortega's really good in this movie so far
I feel like Sidney not being here gives the new characters more of a chance to shine.
I'm a little suspicious of Danny, but this series keeps going back and forth on "it's the boyfriend", and I don't think they'd do it twice in a row.
The killer is using Richie's phone number - I'm almost certain it's Quinn, and likely Detective Bailey as well.
This Ghostface seems like it's Detective Bailey, if he is a Ghostface, given his willingness to use guns and his laser like focus on killing the Carpenters and whoever gets in his way. (Plus he's not much for stealth)
Glad to see Kirby's back. Not sure how Sam knows her, though.
Wasn't expecting Gale to get punched again haha. Figured she'd developed beyond that.
This movie has a cynical view of franchises. (Also, it spoiled No Time To Die)
Also, No Time To Die came out in 2021?!
Detective Bailey seems determined to blame Sam even though, as Kirby points out, it makes no sense for Sam to kill her own alibi.
Okay, so it might not be Quinn, though I'm not ruling out a fake death. (The only suspect that it can possibly be at this point is Ethan)
Since five new characters have been introduced, and four of them were either present and unmasked during the attack or on the phone elsewhere.
Not sure if there's going to be three Ghostfaces or if they'll stick with two. The Ghostface in the apartment has to be Ethan unless they're going with a character who hasn't been introduced, which would be unusual for the series.
Detective Bailey is almost certainly one; he made a comment "you fuck with my family, you die" while glaring at Tara.
Either Quinn faked her death or her father was in on the Ghostface plan while she thought he was going too far but didn't mention anything for some reason.
Weirdly enough, the simplest seems like "faked her death".
I agree with Kirby - part 4 is the best Friday the 13th. (That or part 6)
The Ghostface in Gale's apartment has to be someone who faked their death, since everyone else is present at the scene.
The problem with this movie's whodunnit angle is that with so many legacy characters, there are basically no suspects.
Love Gale's response to Ghostface claiming that he's in the elevator heading for the ground floor. (Shooting the door again)
Man, I thought Gale was going to get a stab in.
Maybe they shouldn't shout before shooting people - this is the second time this happened in the movie, and both times backfired and the Ghostface got away.
I've never been on a New York subway, but this makes me never want to go on a New York subway.
(when I went to Toronto, getting separated on the subway or being stuck near weirdos on the subway was a concern of mine)
I'm guessing the Ghostface in the subway attack is Quinn.
Maybe I'm assuming too much about Quinn, but the attack happened off-screen, and I don't see Ghostface being a character who had never been introduced.
They're being too open about the two Ghostfaces. There's got to be a twist
Also, Chad was stabbed about a dozen times in the chest. I know he survives this, but it's kind of ridiculous.
"Didn't see that one coming, did you?" Surprise, I did!
The killers were clearly unprepared for actually being injured.
I get that the last killer standing is a little berserk, but running at Sam while the killer in question is carrying a gun is an extremely dumb move.
Mindy has GOT to witness a killer monologue in the next movie. (She missed out on the last two)
If Sam and Tara are done in the series after this, it seems like a fitting conclusion for them. (I know that Chad, Mindy, Gale, and Sidney are back for Scream 7)
