this doesn't always happen. sometimes i will watch a show and i'll love it, but no character or ship resonates with me, so it's not a fool proof thing

but i think, more often than not, that is the case. people can easily enable me into a game or even a character by saying, i'll play the other half of that ship with you

and by and large, i am not a multishipper. i don't go into a canon thinking, i want this character to hold hands with everyone. usually, i have my ride or die ship, and! it's usually a rarepair LMAO i don't even know why this is

i know that this doesn't lend itself well to rp. so i try to definitely be more open wrt ships. and i think i am chill enough to do that now (i was not chill during my hetalia days, though)

i rarely ship, but man when i do...i tend to go pretty ham, and i am absolutely a multishipper if something speaks to me well enough

mostly because i think of it as a multi-tiered cake with different flavors to choose from

i think you're equally good in standing with your mono-shipping. that's not a bad thing at all. sometimes a certain ship just hits, or nothing else resonates with that character

i am super into multi shipping but i get not wanting to do it! even if you're good with it, it's also not for everyone
