Maybe do a little more research, I dunno or contact them separately to confirm that they sent the email?
I contacted them directly and am waiting for a call back. The wire transfer part set off alarms. Also I looked up the name of the recruiter and everybody I found with that name is from Nigeria.
yes, the wire transfer is strange. I have not known any company... in life.. ever offer anything but direct deposit. Even Checks are from decades ago.
I didn't see the wire thing, that is nuts and definitely a scam.
Oh wait they want to pay you via wire?
hmmmm I dunno now, wire is weird.
I was like "Well, all the info they just requested is publicly available. Let's see if it pans out" As far as glass door reviews...well I worked for the federal government. I'm used to horrible
I thought that they wanted money from you lol sorry reading comprehension is slow today.
That sounds like they steal money, you pick it up and transfer it to them.
And then when police gets a trace, they'll end at you.
But I mean, doesn't cost a thing to listen what kind of company it actually is.
It's for a remote it position. They had me answer a bunch of basic and not so basic tech questions for a survey
Also did you actually ask them for a job?
Ok, so it's not just a random email.
I've applied for so many positions at this point, I probably did.
And the "wire transfer" is maybe just an option, not the default.
if you applied with them, why do they need your name, address etc again?
Yeah. Well fingers crossed.
Or do they only have your email by now?
My resume has my email/phone number/City, State, and Zip code.

Then at least check the email address if it's actually from them, and not some 3rd party trying to steal data.
They site says: Be aware of scams claiming to offer employment with Mission Critical Partners. All official Mission Critical Partners emails will come from a “
missioncriticalpartners.com” email address. Report any suspicious communications to
inquiry@missioncriticalp....
So if this is not from that domain, dump it.
I have never seen anyone go from shortlist to offer and completely skipping y'know, the interview part... Sus.
Yeah, it's all suspicious to me, but I have no idea about hiring works outside of germany.
Could be completely valid ...
..but asking for the data they have already, that is weird.
Yeah moving it to the likely scam folder. There have been a lot of these. It is super frustrating.
On their site is a phone number, you can just call them and ask them.
I did. It was indeed a scam.
how awful to prey on individuals

You'll find something.
Yeah, I've found that any correspondence I get from companies that I didn't actually apply to are always scams.
They are offering you a job you did not apply for?
I'm saying that's been my experience. But yes, I've seen it happen with companies I did apply to as well.
CajsaLilliehook: I think the problem is I've applied for so many jobs I've lost track. I think I did apply on Linkedin
Well, it's worth checking out if you give them no routing numbers.
