My younger child always amuses me. He's taking an information science course at uni and was given an assignment to talk with another professor about AI. (I didn't get the specifics of the assignment.)
I'm sure the professor wanted them to go to a favorite teacher or a professor for one of their other classes and have a discussion.
My child chose to show off and contacted his godparents. One is a professor of biology. The other is an ass. dean (his own abbreviation) of engineering. "You wanted me to talk to a professor? I went to a dean instead."
