I miss when fall was several weeks of up and down temps, some frost here, no big, instead of going from 70s to a hard freeze in 2 days.

not only did my rogue compost tomatoes not appreciate it, I didn't appreciate having to empty the rain barrel while also fighting to finish work before the maker's market this weekend

I am Not Done and I have 1 day to be Done

including price tags, signs, displays, charging the Square, etc

I'd have loved to have already collected all the tomatoes before the first frost 2-3 weeks ago not right fucking now

on the plus side we didn't have to turn on the heat until this week, so. chalk one up for saving energy I guess.

yeah it's such a pain in the ass

we're about 3 months away from having to ask our parents for mortgage money, being old sucks, and Sadie has become super needy without her brother

oh hey but I just got into a game, cool

I miss fall like that too

        everyone is struggling these days

let me know if I can help

I was thinking something like that, although more in the mode of 'I never really got to have my windows open'....

we've had the patio door open every day for a month, now that wildfire smoke has also gone away

My house seems to hold chill pretty well, like - it was more comfy outside than in, but I have the kotatsu and an electric throw which has been utterly cozy.

More people should know about kotatsu.

        right?? what a great invention
