So we were at the grocery store and I was telling Alex we should get 暖包

AND I COULD NOT for the life of me think of the English

but personally i'd never think of simply gloves being hand warmers because my circulation is so shitty gloves do not warm up my hands

So I had to describe it and I was like HOT PACKETS??

wearing gloves just makes them slightly less cold than not wearing gloves

Anyways, we wandered the grocery store, they didn't have it but because I couldn't think of the English I couldn't ask?? It was a whole thing

The sporting goods store DID have them (in storage!)

But when we went to ask about another group also asked about them AT THE SAME TIME and thank god because they knew "hand warmer"

So we managed to get them but like FFFFFFfffffff

We were going between "hot packet" to "heat bags"

LOL it was a struggle

Between us and the other group, we took all of their "hand warmers"

They needed it for a football game for their kiddo. We need them for tomorrow's Samhain event

But we're very much In the South and we're only just starting to get Frost advisories so they aren't regularly available

Although after we sold them out of them I bet they'll have them out now lmao

Not sure how further south you are than me presuming US but at this time of year they'll start showing up in Walmart, but are generally stocked in hardware stores. (I am in Kentucky in this case).

But also tbf they may come out more in respect to the fact we have some major outdoor work hubs where handwarmers are in demand the moment things start getting chilly. XD

Well sporting goods department/store wouldn't normally be a place for them. US generally puts them in hardware stores like Lowes or Home Depot, and you might be able to find them in Walmart but I can totally see where it was rough getting the message across
