Y'know, nothing quite puts my migraines into perspective like the horror that crossed my rheumatologist's face when I excitedly told her I finally was down to around 6 migraine days in a typical month.
She's been watching my migraine med list grow each time I visit but yesterday was the first time she asked about the migraines overall. She asked if they were getting worse and it was like "nah, just finally getting handled"
But hey, my RA has been entirely inactive for like 15 years now, so she's thinking of dropping the methotrexate entirely and trying one of the newer meds if it does end up flaring again later
I do consider the what if it flares again scenario. And how bad that got, but like. IDK it'd be nice to have a fully functional immune system and to not have to worry about med interactions with methotrexate.
