I do think that it’s funny how plainly in some spots you can see that this started life as an expansion for Hollow Knight rather than a full separate game

Like the Red Memory sequence, which is cool, but which contains a bunch of character stuff that means almost nothing in the context of Silksong

And of course, the cameo appearance by The Boy
