Suikoden I&II HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unific...I loved playing Suikoden 2 as a kid but I'd hate it now because I'm still annoyed at the time-gated characters. I want to fuck around this world you've masterfully created without being pressed for time, dammit 
Unironically that's why I loved 4 the most, despite it being the "worst" Suikoden. I can sail around in my big fucking boat and chill /o/
What I did back in the PSX era Suikoden 2 (AFAIK, no time-gated characters in Suikoden 1) is to devote a save file for before I leave for Muse (first meeting with Clive), I can then play the game without pressure and return to the save file for when I am ready to deal with the time pressure.
I can no longer remember yung time pressure kay Clive, but I think it's 8 hours to Sajah (the other town in the main Highland area). I am also not sure if that's from the start of the game or from first meeting Clive. I think it's the latter.
Oh, I looked it up and it's not that simple, but to Sajah, it must be less than 20 hours (and must have seen all the previous cut scenes).
