my excellent sleep drugs would really help me sleep through the anxiety but I am not allowed to take them booooo
Oof that is an unfortunate development...and I can completely understand your feelings. But I am confident it will go well

Good luck regardless, will be thinking of you!
And rooting for you to get out of the building and back into your Fortress of Youitude as soon as humanly possible!
That'll be good when it's all healed up though!
oooh, I get the anxiety, but just think of breathing easily once it's healed
my surgery was flawless, without a hitch. My body did throw a "foreign body in here!" hissy fit over the splint in my nose afterwards, so I ran a low fever for a week until it was removed. Then I felt better pretty much instantly. Also, I can breathe through my nose now!
Sending you good vibes for smooth sailing and swift recovery.
ughhhhh I think maybe I've gotten like... an hour of light sleep at best so far
it's not even the anxiety at this point, my body is real mad about not having the drugs ig
Sending you good thoughts. Hope all goes smoothly.
I think I got a whole two hours of sleep maybe but I'm heeere
my anesthesiologist looks like Lori Petty
I told her that but she didn't know who that was lol
good news you'll sleep great after! (happy schnoz repair, hope it heals easy ❤️)
Wishing you an uneventful surgery and fast recovery!
you're going to get great rest now! Hope everything goes absolutely perfect!
all done! it honestly doesn't feel that bad at all and
ltmutiny is looking after me like a champ
oooof okay now the pain meds are wearing off and I can't take more for a bit... still not horrible or anything but definitely less easy breezy beautiful
oh dear, I wondered if that was partly the meds talking.
that was my experience post top surgery. immediately after was like "i feel great!" a few hours later was not so great. although it was never horrible either. just mildly uncomfortable for about a week. all the surgery procedures I've had, the day or two after is the worst in terms of discomfort and then it starts feeling better from there.
i hope your pain meds are doing good and that every day gets easier from here on out
fingers crossed you're recovering well!
im doing okay! the pain is actually very mild. I'm also mostly just tired and uncomfortable.
day 3: tired of constantly leaking from the face, thank you
or is this day 4... day 3.5
yeah it's definitely not terrible or anything but I'm still hitting a point of "can we be done with this now?" lol
I took two weeks of FMLA for this and I'm very glad I did, I know Monday is still ages away in terms of healing time but I'd be stressing like hell about being in shape for work
