Damn....I clicked on a NAS application that I still use (but not very often) and my Mac Studio didn't even confirm with me whether or not it was safe. It just went and told me it was not Apple Authorized software and deleted it. 
Good thing I have it backed up. Apple thinks it's malware.
Eh? Mac OS doesn't ask if you really want to run it? Sounds like they've gone overboard with their Apple certified app thing.... 🤔
