[job saga] not me spending WAY too much time trying to figure out if I want to reverse engineer my Thursday or just be on the clock for a million hours
(it's the annual Jansky lecture and I'm not WORKING it like I was last year, but it is a Work Function, so it was mostly a "do I just count everything until 5pm (when cocktail hour starts)" sort of question)
I have also now done my one and only work related thing that I needed to take care of (I have so much else to take care of) which means I can fuck off for the rest of the day
