I have worried about latte getting thin (she's lost some weight) but I also think it's because mom isn't feeding her a handful of treats every night lol
I am thinking about bumping up her dry a bit more, but a major issue rn is money and that she grazes
like I could give her a 1/2 cup and I KNOW she'll have a bunch left over and then not want to eat it because ew stale
I do wanna give her wet every day but I just do not have the money for that, even with getting friskies
(she gets the pate so she IS getting decent caloric content)
so she gets dry one day, wet another, etc
the other thing Is I also know a lot of the cats Im used to seeing are a bit overweight
like I can feel her hip bones, ribs, and spine but like they have skin/fat/feels like your knuckles so
her coat is still nice and soft and pretty so like
I could go take her to the vet but like. I'd rather wait if it's just me going MMMM and she's fine otherwise
because I don't give her half as much treats as mom did. she gets treats as TREATS not a handful getting thrown at her every night.
when I get money I do want to switch her back to the food I had her on tho
like, the wet food
