Or ones you've played, just some things you've done that had involved big dramatic fights or conflict that you really liked
I was just thinking back on Hiroto for 4th wall and how much chaos he got up to and then him getting killed by Amaranth
I thought it was a lot of fun and tried to plot it out in advance so as many people could be informed ahead of time so they could interact or avoid as much as needed
I also had a lot of fun with Eichi in the hostage game, when he got free and shot someone before getting axed
he just got to go a little feral even though physically he simply is not imposing
god he deserved all the hate he got and i was living for it tbh
one time Ganondorf and Richtofen trapped everyone in a torment nexus
I got to get mindcontrolled and then punch Jamil Viper out of an overblot episode and then bully him
end of Imeeji 4th wall where the producers were like hey YOU-kai, murder a bunch of people and you can go home. and then they did.
...a couple of them did murders anyway
I am still very fond of the 4th wall Lucifer v peppep direct kill card. Thank u for letting Pink do the babiest Murder
the producers told them to! that makes the murders legal!
Idk if it counts for villain stuff really, but it was a good time
stealthmote: YES god i loved the Lucifer and Pink stuff it was so fun
I think it counts. There was Drama
god also I got to kill lbh and cut off his legs in 7h. that was great
apping Shen Jiu and getting in my one stabbing incident a week
back in ye olde Aather days, people who were dropped were stored in the Book, and one day my character tried to rip it apart due to having a grudge against a specific person stored in the Book. he didn't succeed ofc but I'm glad I had the chance to try.
an OC I apped not intending to make her a villain ended up Gilgamesh's master and had a lil villain arc and kind of decided she was into it. also turned into a dragon and got Excalibur'd in the face.
missnaya: I'm so curious about this. What game was it?
sacae: I'm only sad i didn't get to come and make things worse
having Crow popcorn Hiroto's murder rampage and make 0 attempt to stop him or save him from getting killed was fun too
I was honestly always joking that at a certain point sj would have been relieved to see his own lbh again because at least he knows what's wrong with that one
somarysueme: unexpected villain arcs are also so good. I love when a character who is otherwise reasonable goes "you know what? hell yeah"
she was very mind-broken and fucked up when I apped her. and thought she would mostly just be a sad girl. but then she realized that you don't have to tolerate losing people over and over if you just turn into a dragon and eat your enemies.
and now I have played her as an psuedo villain (or at least A Problem) in several subsequent games. ty Vic and Nishi for enabling her growth into a terrible person.
the torment nexus was in Tower of Animus!!
God I also got to play Muraki again in the 4th wall and he's so awful but i had a great time. I can't remember names bcuz my brain is swiss cheese(I'm so sorry) but he cut off Asidian's boy's prosthetic and was just generally awful
missnaya: oh man, i never went there, but i do love the idea of a torment nexus. I've always wanted to do a gamewide villain plot but I'm ascared
it was so fun, Ganondorf's powers made it possible but Richtofen helped him so he got to control "levels" of it himself lol
also things Richtofen did in that game: got together a team of people to kill a giant monster to try and use its intestines to rappel down an elevator shaft
then it turned out the giant monsters were just illusions made to LOOK giant but their intestines turned normal-sized the second they went into the elevator shaft
I know I did some shit with Dio Brando but honestly the thing i remember most is him getting into a fight with Jotaro and throwing a tiger at him during an event
He also had excellent rapport with Count Dooku which was hilarious and great
i had hoped to make some kind of vampire plot happen but i lost steam. A real shame bcuz it would be very fun to make a bunch of people turn into feral fledglings and have to deal with the fallout of that
vampires or zombies or something idk, Jojo vampires are weird(all vampires are weird but Jojo vampires suck blood with their fingers so idk man)
in the villain adjacent arena: that time Bad End killed each other in endgame due to being high on status effects and being 2/3 murder-inclined already. self-inflicted tpk.
in Sheep, Rose working together and with friends to rescue their teammate after he was turned into an evil werewolf (more of a defeating a villain thing but it still counts)
actually I think Valor's peak villain moment in Imeeji was during Hunger Games when he used a BEDE power to make HSS try to kill one of their teammates, after trying to kill said teammate himself for no reason other than the game rules said to kill people. plus all the other times he tried to kill people in Hunger Games.
HSS played along with the first part for which I am very grateful (and then got to get revenge by immediately murdering Valor for it, which was also fun)
god, thinking on it i also had Nya doing some fuckshit that i found very fun
sensitIV's messy era was so good to me
When he was in the Hunger Games and kept grafting doll arms to his body and ended up with like 3 guns at once or something
I also remember loving the time Lucifel was in court and was like "fuck it, kill everyone"
I need to do more evil villain type shit in rp. /nods
i don't remember the circumstances around it bcuz see aforementioned swiss cheese brain but just the "Everything devolves into chaos"
i think it's important to plan ahead, get permission, and check in with folks oocly for villain shit normally but sometimes the chemistry is just there, the setup is very good, and people are chomping at the bit for blood
i feel like a lot of "villain" stuff i actually get to pull off in rp is more like "being vaguely annoying", like owen's start in library...
eats a guy's photo and everyone has to pick him up like a bad cat.
oh god yeah Eichi telling Ardyn "let's bet Zrael's ability to breathe" as an escalation for them betting BiT's ability to talk was SO FUNNY
turns a guy into a cat and the guy's boyfriend loses his everloving shit about it :|a
BiT from then on was the "if you swing at them you better swing hard" group
ucchuu: LMAOOOO yeah... yeah that
leo also was like, vaguely annoying levels of "villain".... like that time he decided to go Way Too Hard in the auction game, and ardashir knocked him out cold over it
kalim got to overblot and drown his entire team once and it was amazing 10/10
The difference between Leo and Eichi was that Leo had Ardashir to knock him out and Eichi was just like "do it. kill them" and BiT as Team Villains was like "yes of course, that was our plan all along"
it's so funny how many times i kept going "what if luo binghe goes full bingge mode because of shen jiu being like this at him all the time" and then shen jiu would say or do something that soothed him enough that he calmed down because bingmei is SO READY TO JUST TAKE WHATEVER SHIZUN GIVES HIM AND JUSTIFY IT IN HIS HEAD
OH THAT TIME IN SENSITIV.... when they had that [trial to prove that you value your team over every other team] and siv was like okay got it [tries to tear open the scars of everyone else present]
ALSO like not necessarily a villain thing but it was endlessly adorable to me that Eichi was just like "I'm BiT's leader" and all the Adult Actual Villains were like "its kind of cute. i will nurture this" and they simply never argued because Eichi never ordered them to do anything
dantalion got immediately kneecapped by ardashir's contract ability, but he did try
and while that did have a lot of ugly fallout that breached like... ic/ooc lines...
i did enjoy it at the time
yes, agreed there. Things went bad after but i thought it was fun at the time :')
i like getting curbstomped too much to do too many big bad villain things LOL
i'm a mid-level villain player u_u it's the bottom in me
LMAO legit tho, that's an important part of the villain ecosystem too
you can't ONLY have Final Bosses
im like, the minions to the final bosses player
or the really questionable love interest rather
though tbf i also like to get curb stomped, I'll just also. Make people work for it and make as much chaos as possible in the meantime
which is liteerally what lbh and dantalion are
like, they're Not Good. also they are literally a love interest in their canon.
I love to play villains that people love to hate
A Sub DMi think about this like twice a week
me trying to remember the last time i was awful
i think ive been mostly well behaved but usually my characters are just really offputting and idk if that counts as villainy like does being the worst little brother villainy????? idk but nobody was comfortable with what happened there!!!
i havent done anything Big Villainy for a long time i think
i also enjoy "Just Really Offputting" as villain stuff
try to kill people, torture people, make inappropriate commentary and just be The Worst without being the worst
like when i played RETRIBUTION and he??? Ate Seth's sand??
yeah like i was playing feyd rautha for a hot second and he's just [ very offputting ]
i think the worst villain i've played was xue yang and even then in my mind he's a love interest
idk if i would call it VILLAINY cuz he was in limelight but i think 'immensely offputting and makes everyone uncomfortable as a hobby' is there,
He was terrible but he was mostly just like "idk, talking to him makes me feel bad" terrible
i have def done the whole mutilate and keep in ur house levels too
i love villiny in general
honestly let me play ur villain i can be ur angle or your devile
ennead is full of villains but they're all rapey....
even if sekhmet doesnt get to put it in she's still..... kinda....
I think it was made funnier bcuz RETRIBUTION could be a REAL PROBLEM. He's a powerful psychic who can read minds and create illusions and communicate telepathically with electronics to a point where he basically puppets them
i was trying to think of villains for aj and all i can think is maybe sekhmet because she's a girl who does bad things
but he uses that power to do robot fights and bother this egyptian god
bothering seth is a national sport and respectable
OH HIGHFIVE POWERFUL PSYCHIC prayer is like that and actually she does a lot of villainy
bc she reads ppls psychic vibes by pulling nightmares from their heads and then makign them real
it's fine she's a good girl
sometimes shit happens tho
RETRIBUTION is like. Such a problem bcuz he just has no loyalty and his hobby is Murdering With A Giant Robot(his boyfriend who lives in his head) but he has no plans. No schemes
just chaos. So he can't rightly do Game Villainy, instead all he can do is be annoying and offputting
:|a that's one thing tho that makes being a villain in games difficult is like
what are they gonna do... what is the plan....
like even if im apping a character with actual villainy plans, once they're uprooted it's like
so it's like i guess i'll just be vaguely annoying
i did entertain the idea of kidnapping shen jiu and keeping him in my theoretical basement but i didnt have time for that u_u
yeah ive only played a Big Planning villain once and uhh he didnt really. plan that much so much as he actually just had the capability to but in terms of 'goals' it was still just. hedonism,
i play A LOT of hedonistic antagonists
'i do this because i enjoy it' or 'i do this bc im too fucked up' both of which dont need to have 'goals' which helps
id love to play on a midboss squad tho.... truly goals....
I think the big bads I've played who did dramatic things ARE mostly people with Goals to work toward(Hiroto: wants Persephone to be His, Eichi: Power At Any Cost in order to get revenge on one specific guy, etc)
I think smaller, one on one type villain stuff is also fun and valid tho, like "i got really attached to this one person(derogatory)"
tartaglia: I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND PLAYING ON A MIDBOSS SQUAD at least once
the hardest part is Making One and Maintaining it
driveby cuz i'm at work but i did want to come in and say hiroto 4th wall was qt af
I remember BiT really took off for me after Eichi's heart game where Leo and Tsukasa and Sena picked up the BiT room and inadvertently made Eichi actually legitimately super fond of any BiT member and they became his found family
karlsefni:

I'm glad you enjoyed it, i had a lot of fun there
a charming lad (bad) (affectionate)
1 torture?! I guess?!
2 mind controlled someone into attempted fratricide
3 killed a viddygame protagonist
4 made someone do Russian roulette on a public network
5 set giant-ass wolves on people?!?!
three different characters. one of them did, uh, three of those
i wanna be on a midboss fam team....
shiny。

I remember Vil going up against Laios and Kabru who had fused and he just went full OB and killed them both
congratulations to their marriage

ucchuu IT WAS DURING DANGERBEAR we all went off the rails and those two were 1:1 against Vil and he just Went Overblot and killed them because he wanted to kill Malleus himself and not let anyone else do it
kabru/laios fusion sounds like an utter nightmare
for others and for themselves
It was awesome I'm so glad Yog allowed it
I think the one time I got to really do villain planning was Kyrie in newlydead, truly don't know how my own brain managed to work good enough for all that string pulling but it was very satisfying to play a schemer scheming extremely well. and then also getting thoroughly punished at the last second for it and revealing her terribleness for all to see
you know. despite firmly considering myself a villain player. I'm not sure I have a remotely recent answer to this question...
IV killing Yuzu in a fancy restaurant was fun. Shark forcing someone to take his sigil so he could use their body as a puppet as an emergency escape strategy was pretty good.
I know there's been more recent things but SHRUGS THOSE WERE BOTH GOOD AND I REGRET NOTHING
LMAO legit though, I'm sure I did a lot more fucking things up as Eichi and Nya but they were scheming schemers so it's hard to quantify
I do so love a villain moment when they get so close and it fucks up at the end so they have to throw off the mask and go full evil
yeah. Like Wil is def a villain type but he did politics and explosives, which meant he didn't have a high direct kill count
I still regret that I've never managed to get Eichi to magically bind someone with a contract of some sort
Someday my time will come again!!
I love contract powers so much. I haven't put a contract power in CRIM3S yet but maybe I should so people can have their villainous dreams
Yesss please it would be very fun
the fact that eichi never got to contract leo is a tragedy
i guess leo could have done that to eichi though. that could have been a thing. why was past me such a coward u_u
I always enjoy playing manipulators, shady actors who are really good at strategizing and playing the heartstrings. or just seeming like harmless idiots. I'm always elated when players actually allow me to play a callous manipulative shit that fucks around and finds out. just lets me set up the hustle and their house of cards before they ruin their day
there's something very satisfying about playing a smug character that thinks they're smarter than they really are and suffering because of it
the more of a malignant narcissist they are, the better tbh
that's why i love to play Eichi. he thinks so highly of himself and he is definitely competent but he is OVERCONFIDENT in his competence and he is such a weenie physically
its so fun! I also just love writing the inner thought processes of these and how utterly detached from reality they can become haha
like their self-image is skewed, their reading of the situations they get into is skewed, their own blindness to the bad end that's coming for them because they just can't conceive of themselves as not coming out on top.. it's so fun to dive into
I also like playing against characters like this, too. like make my character earn their victory. fuck them up, too, you know?
some of my favorite CR dynamics are just two highly intelligent manipulative schemers going at each other with all they've got until one of them wins
but a couple of dumb schemers going at it and turning into a just a complete trainwreck is fun, too
god I remembered Reaper's betrayal run and also Reaper's ideal worlds (everyone else's) runs. those were great
when Reaper traitor'd in betrayal she didn't even get possessed she just found out what the traitor goal was and had a field day
and then in ideal worlds she just went around ruining things because she hates happiness
LMAO truly excellent. I love betrayal so much UGH
It was probably not a villain moment so much as just being unhinged but i do recall clearly how Eichi realized Wataru was possessed and rather than letting himself get killed by a ghost he decided to take Wataru on a date, get him waltzing, and then promptly blow both of them to smithereens
also Reaper just seemed fun in general, sad i did not get much cr with her
I am always sad I died so much and so fast with Reaper I should have fucked up more shit
for some reason she was really into Wataru so I should have cucked Eichi
more people should have cucked Eichi
Eichi would have gone insane with jealousy and that would have been fun too.
I understand why jealousy plots suck but really with Eichi it would be fun bcuz he's just so. Insane about it
looks at him in CANON helicoptering in to steal amnesia Wataru away while saying YOU GET EVERYTHING, LET ME HAVE THIS ONE THING" like he's not Idol Seto Kaiba
my ideal world is one where jealousy plots do not cause ooc pain and insanity so that everyone can play them bc they're fucking hysterical
jealousy plots are fine if everyone is chill about it but...
the only way i've been able to deal with it w/luo binghe is just like, by being very clear he's insane the entire time
this is completely unreasonable. please do not take him seriously.
luo binghe voice i can't believe shizun is nicer to this rude shirtless man than he is to me (shizun literally stabbed this man the other day)
