tea sounds like it would be a good way to add the smokiness but also smokey cherrywood chips....

very torn between checking the local brewing supply store for smoked cherry chips or using some lapsang in my mead

It's still very early so I suppose I could test both and choose closer to June

Especially since Killer Bee is out of stock rn so I can just test with regular local honey
