First it was my help not coming in, which we knew about in advance, her kid had a Dr's appointment. But when it was done she texted the manager saying she could make it in for the second half of the day

She never showed up

On top of that we've been unusually busy for this time of year, and aaaaall the orders were on me

I managed to get all the high priority shit out, like amazon and ebay orders, but there were still a fuckton of orders

So then I was like man, ill just stay like half an hour later just to get ahead of tomorrow a little

Then people kept coming into the warehouse and fucking asking me shit, like customers and guys picking up our freight

IDK THE ANSWERS ASSHOLES, I'M USUALLY GONE BY NOW

so an HOUR LATER I'm all OKAY, time to shut my shit down and leave!!

But then I see my email, and an hour previously some stupid STUPID bitch messaged me saying "aw gee oopsie I accidentally put this ebay order on hold it has to go today can you get it out tee hee" like MOTHERFUCKER UPS PICKED UP LITERALLY HALF AN HOUR BEFORE YOU THOUGHT TO MENTION THIS???

If I hadn't stayed late I wouldnt have seen that email until TOMORROW ???

so I'm like OK shit for brains, I'll make the goddamn shipping labels and TAKE IT TO UPS, even though I SHOULD just let your stupid ass get in trouble for being a moron

So I take it to UPS, this goes smoothly and is uneventful, and I hop back on the highway to go ups to the next exit where my street is. Not far, not a big deal

As soon as I turn into my street I see in the distance not one, not two, BUT LIKE SEVEN vehicles with all their lights flashing. Cops, ambulances, a god damn fire truck, and I'm like WELL WTF COULD HAVE HAPPENED I WONDER

After traffic was predictable slow as all hell I finally get close enough to see the accident. Like SIX CARS, (maybe 7? Didnt get an accurate count because lol driving) all piled up, bumpers smashed into and under bumpers

It was wild

It looked like theyd all been stopped at a rad light and then the very last car had absolutely SMASHED into the one in front of it with enough force to shove THAT MANY CARS into each other. Gotta say that car was in horrific shape, I'm gonna keep an eye on the news because goddamn

Anyway I finally got home at 5:45 and I'm tired, also I'm typing all this on my phone while I sit in front of my computer that I COULD turn on. I will in a minute I need to make TEA
