Should have just let it drop
My desk is glass and I ended up catching it on the edge of the glass of the phone screen in a way that the rubbery protector was too flimsy in a spot to protect
It doesn't have the crack across the screen at least but I feel like if it drops again the two points at a diagonal where is showing tiny fracture on either side might stretch to connect, if that makes sense
Kind of wondering if there's some kind of patch liquid for filling in cracks on a phone like I see on windshield advertisement things
watching this and thinking y'know what maybe i'll just have someone else do this for me, i'm getting anxiety just watching all the things he's doing and thinking of how i'd fuck it up
So once the sun came up and I got a better look by default I realized yeah, those two points don't connect, but it doesn't mean there aren't cracks across the glass
They just happen to be going up one way in the corner and down the other
jfc its $286 quoted to replace it at a samsung store
that's more than i paid for the phone to begin with
oh a typo, $186 but still
the phone after tax was $213 off amazon
oh what i forgot i also got a 2-year protection plan ty amazon purchase history
ugh i'd be without a phone for like 5 days tho..
ugh maybe i'll attempt to fix it myself with the replacement screen from amazon that's like $20 after all
just thinking of it makes me feel queasy tbh
okay until i hear back from a couple of email-only quotes, so far $89 is the lowest i've gotten
