Why does no one love the books? WHY?

I mean, I loved it. I think Mary Shelley would have loved it. I'm also still mad.

GDT definitely wants to fuck the Creature.

He made him a Poor Little Meow Meow Who Did No Wrong.

Where is the uncontainable wrath he splashes all over the novel? I want that.

I mean, I also loved this. But I am still waiting for that movie.

Where the Creature kills a tiny child, successfully frames a young woman for his murder, admits it laughing, and is STILL sympathetic.

But this was lush and Gothic and Victor was an absolute monster with hella daddy and mommy issues, and did pay homage to both the books and the "It's ALIVE" history of movies.

Big Finish has an audio play of Frankenstein that loves the book. And really hates Victor. The Creature 100% kills a small child, frames a woman, boasts about it and the entire time I'm still thinking "Victor is the worst."

There are good audio plays, good stage plays, but if there's a good on-book movie, I've never come across it.

(Oh, and completely unnecessary sub-plot about a dying rich man that goes nowhere and wasn't needed? wtf on that. but sure.)

Literally just throw the plot and the man down a hole and it has no bearing on anything again.

Makes me want to finish writing my Fantomstein app.
