muscle memory is fantastic. I think it's been 40 years since I crocheted anything, but other than a little bit of aching fingers from the unusual use my muscles remember how to do it
the harder part for me coming back is remembering which stitch is which but it always comes back
I did that recently too. Amazing how the muscles know what to do!
