But the coffee shop in the parking lot of my gym had an ENTIRE Mario Kart track set up with their workers all in costumes and it was fucking delirious to stagger out after gym time and see Rosalina handing out coffee while Rainbow Road music is blasting

their store is set up so you drive on like a three-lane track to come around and get your coffee anyway, so like, yeah I can see where the inspiration came from lol

But me and the guy leaving the gym at the same time must have both thought we were seeing shit because we both just stopped mid-walk to cars, stared, looked at each other, stared again, and then just kept going to our cars lol

I'm like "I bet it's fun now, but this was probably a BITCH to plan and set up"
