at work today at some point I let a hot bag of pizzas slip off a table and they went vertical and all squished into the sides of their boxes, not actually that big a mistake in the grand scheme of how crazy that shift was (halloween! and a dodgers game! on a friday!!) but I'm taking them home and I'm hyped to try to turn them into a casserole
I worked the front for all of the like 4 hour long rush and I'm kind of terrible at the kind of chaos-managing prioritizing customer-assuaging communicating task-jumping kind of work that that entails on a night this busy but we were so strapped for human capital today since some people called off that I just ended up being the one to do it anyway
When I work slow and steady and do my best not to tweak out it's actually not that bad. but I definitely gave subpar customer service. BUT half my coworkers are convinced I did an amazing job because they're impressed with the fact that I don't really get mad when having to deal with all the customers pissed about their orders being super late
