thankfully the suspicious shuffling I was hearing was them and not a person

they're like the top tier cool creatures i'm jealous of (i know they can probably be a nuisance if they get into things but i find them very charming)

i just think they're neat

they are very cute and neat! they haven't bothered my garden at all so I don't mind them

I never had to deal with raccoons as a pest, so I still think they're cute.

What's really funny about being in Japan though, I went to a zoo when I was still a college student. No lie, there were raccoons as an exhibit.

I about fell over laughing.
