[Daily Life | Fashion] I love clothes and clothes as art, but goddammit the fashion industry is so annoying! Even when I'm wearing men's clothes my wingspan is too long for the sleeves!
I try to wear a flannel shirt the way it's designed to be worn, with the cuffs buttoned -
but I can't get the sleeves down to my wristbone, where the button is supposed to go!
The end of the cuff itself hangs out a good three inches above my wristbone!
That's tacky!
Some days I manage to go Whatever I Don't Care but today it's Intrusive Thoughts About Clothes Time
At least it's not cold, so the fact that I had to roll the cuffs up to my elbows so they'll stay and look reasonably intentional isn't sensorily unpleasant.
And I do look cute!
(I need to get back on making my own clothes so I can get the sleeves right.)
