It's November, which means it is time for that challenge again (no not that one). NaNoWriMo, or National November Writer's Month, was a challenge to write a 50,000 word novel during the 30 days of this month. The official group disbanded back this April, but the task can be done oneself.
In 2021 I did it with my first book, Jim Roy Howard's. This year I am entering myself to write "There's A Bomb." It is a standalone book very in the style of Kurt Vonnegut. It's about an upstate NY town that has a bomb monument in the middle of it. It might be real. Does it go off? Who knows.
Usually I am guarded with what I write, but this year it will be public. If you want to follow along with me and read it as I write, you can! The chapters as I write it will be posted here: https://kopperhed.dreamw...
Keep in mind! -This will be posted raw and unedited. There will be errors and confusion. -The chapters will be posted in a descending/reverse date order. Yes I know the site is weird that way.
-This is very much Vonnegutian in style. It's a weird book. -Prepare for dark humor. -Updates will be sporadic and I may very well not finish it and/or quit. My muse is fickle.
Thank you very much for looking, and whatever support or feedback you may give. Feedback to my writing is my second favorite thing in the world, so by all means, give me any that you deem fit.
