things i liked:
- all your old rivals/friends came back to help you
- urbain wasn't fucked up about fucking up
- floette is ok

things i did not like:
- they murdered az offscreen afterwards for ??????? reasons
- the final battle was boring af and they could have let me instead pilot zygarde while i rode on his back and shoot beams at the fucking tower
- zygarde's final move is a dragon type?? against a fairy type light of ruin?? IT WOULDN'T HAVE DONE ATNYHING?

"I hit the credits" is NOT the same as "I finished the game", do NOT let your alex misguide you. alexes are known to play pokemon for hundreds of hours, it's born into the alex breed as a trait

I MEAN I ASSUME THERE'S POSTGAME AND im going to finish the pokedex bc I always do

but like.... man I have played a lot of pokemon games. and i mean a lot of them. every single gen and most spinoffs

this may very well be my least favorite pokemon game

i have heard that there is... not a ton of postgame but im not 100% certain

it's just... so fucking confusing. it's ideas that were obviously from sixteen different games that they slapped together into a big confusing mess

like as usual pokemon can't make a truly bad game, I don't hate that I played it and I did have fun, but. when you line it up against other pokemon games it just doesn't even come close

especially since they tried to bill this as a legends game and the last legends game had THEEEEE PLOT OF THE CENTURY like im sorry it was so good. it was so FUCKING good.

honestly i kind of wish this was a mobile game. it reads like a mobile game LMAO

and as someone who loved the first legends and who loved pokemon x and y (i literally have a copy of x AND y, i've played it maybe three or four times entirely through)

like, again: it's a pokemon game, I'm a sucker for these, I'm gonna play whatever they give me because even like. even this being the worst pokemon game imo, i'd still say as a game it's like a 6/10 LMAO

so zygarde is like the final final battle to catch it, so you have to "prove your strength" like in all previous pokemon games

and like. y'know, the rogue mega evolved pokemon were theoretically in pain and wildin' out, it makes sense they might try to stab someone

and wild pokemon are understandably like "well I don't want to fucking uhhh die" and might go after you or something

but this bitch knows you full well

and instead of fighting your pokemon is just like yeah i'm gonna vaporize a child and see what happens.

an honorable battle makes sense but you dont see people shooting each other in the face in honorable battles (akechi dni)
