My dad and I weren't sure we were going to put up our jack o' lantern jamboree, because life kept being life, but around the 15th of October, we decided, "Eh, let's put up some!"
And some became about ninety percent of 'em. The only ones that didn't make it out were the vintage ones from the 1930s which we found in some antique shops, etc.
Had about a hundred people come through and then last night, about twenty or so stopped by to check things out. My dad and I were out anyway chilling by the firepit.
Spooky clouds scudding across the moon. Our neighbor popped by to check out this year's display and she was going batty in a good way snapping pics of the clouds crossing the moon, as it shone through the treetops.
And I don't think I've EVER seen an image of freshly carved turnip jack o'lanterns, despite often hearing about them! I especially love the expression on the second, right-hand one!
