things have been really great at my new place so I'm hoping to have less to talk about in here. like it's night and day compared to my old apartment

the worst that's happened here is like. catching a teenager letting their dog pee next to the stairs lol. and people like to race at night on the streets nearby but that happened near the old place too

all very minor things that I am happy to ignore, I do have to jockey for a decent parking spot sometimes but since I work from home I don't leave the building often anyway

right now I am just watching some of the videos on youtube about the Brandywine Festival and wishing I had friends to drag to something like that 😩

oh to LARP a hobbit and camp in the woods and eat food for a few days...

What a week as a Hobbit taught me about Capitalismomg the story at the end is SO CUTE

there's a bit in the middle about the history of how capitalism as a practice grew out of mercantile trade but that's fully optional

but it's about how at first the community of LARPers there were refusing help or offers of food out of politeness but by the third day people were more freely helping each other and trading things to make sure everyone had enough food or help 😭😭 😭

since unlike a Ren Faire nothing was sold inside the event so anything people brought along was free or exchanged for trinkets or a good story etc
