(It’s not a shithole I’m just tired of having roommates)
jesus christ, that would be almost the entirety of my entire month's pay
yeah? I pull in between $900-1000 per paycheck (biweekly)
Well, it’s in downtown Seattle so it’s not gonna be cheap
that's almost double my mortgage holy hell Seattle
This is in my budget, so it’ll be my starting point
I gotta look at more options
Yeah, that makes sense for downtown Seattle
It's only a little bit more expensive than what I was paying in downtown Chicago about ten years ago
For a pretty similar size
that's about the average for studios/1bds here in LA too
how's the bus route look?
Seattle’s buses are pretty good
It’s a few blocks from the main artery
The location is almost ideal for my needs
You guys definitely don't want to know how much a studio is in nyc 🥲
I would kill for 1750
but if it's just you living there then that's probably less of a problem than my apartment's tiny kitchen was
looks like more or less the exact same layout that we had though, and the lack of counterspace did get pretty frustrating
At least the dishwasher and oven don't open into each other
Cute! That looks pretty reasonable
Yeah I also thought the kitchen was small but it should be enough for my purposes
Kitchen without someone else's dishes all over will feel larger
One of the things I am dreading about finding an apartment when I do start looking is tiny kitchens
Crying in London, would also kill for $1750
Good luck with the apartment hunt! And it’s worth it not having roommates
That kitchen is almost twice the size of mine
That is a tiny-ass kitchen
