the culprit is the spacer2 div, I think
it is like 425px wide, despite having a specified width of 250px
I do not know why
I do not know how to fix it
why is that column so insanely wide
while the final column with the inputs is so cramped

I don't, think that's correct? all of those are supposed to be in one block
they're nested

adding a / there would break the whole structure
