i think given his culture and time period he'd be a little hesitant about it at first. but if his partner initiated in a setting where it wouldn't get them in trouble, he'd be like nooooooo dont people are looking noooo noooooooo

...... tho im ngl i think even in a victorian/meiji setting he would be Very into like, sneaky flirty pda skirting just at the edge of Late 1800s Male Friendship and Actually Quite Gay he'd probably think that was hot because he's himself LMFAOOO

i think mikotoba is the kind of person who like, allows people access to some parts of himself that seem like they're intimate

but you're actually within the first antechamber of truly knowing him and you have no idea bc it's a VERY LARGE HALLWAY and the secret door at the other end of the room is so, so small
