Going into Novemby, Gale isn't suppressing his natural soul as much, so a lot of the carnivora traits he was trying to clamp down on will be on display. So, aggression, being territorial, etc.
So if anyone wants to play with that with me
He's also fully in the anti Patho-Gen camp now (for obvious reasons). Like, he wasn't pro-PG before, but he was in favor of playing it careful. Now? Less so
THOUGH he does have the forced imprint with PG from the horrors holiday, so he couldn't directly kill anyone. That just means getting creative and assisting others in taking them down
while tempting to say have him be territorial over pom with northly, I think it's more likely gale will be territorial over both of them. but I do also have verso who may start hanging around their place for jam sessions with pom
verso is a shit. will absolutely go out of his way to have his face punched.
also, he's french. flirts with everyone. is performatively charismatic. aka could well set off every warning bell for gale when he's getting too close to pom
BACK OFF, THAT'S HIS....... FRIEND!!
I got permission for Gale to start working on casting a spell version of the arcane radiation barrier
here
And once he thinks he understands it, to work with the techy types
They can hang out and talk barriers and have a katalyth song sing along...
I need to backdate Mel reaching out to him but I want more things always
eli would def be interested in the magic barrier shtuff
at some point we should have tighnari and gale meet up for Science. nari has been working on replicating the imprint experiment power generation (much safer than using katalyth, ffs!! don't do that!!) ((if tighnari wasn't a terra type and more susceptible to arcane radiation he would absolutely have tried that))
icqt: Yes we should! I think we briefly mentioned it last month at some point but ya know, there were horrors to be experienced
decimalplaces: Absolutely, I feel like Gale would for sure loop him in. Eli's the only one who knows about the katalyth experiments that wouldn't tell him to quit it so
quite the opposite, he is here to enable your bad ideas,
would gale tell rowan about any of it? tighnari's used them to digitise the records he's been keeping with science data etc, so they'd know the basics of most of the stuff he's been up to.
(he has been keeping the more worrying things he's been doing away from them/in slightly coded language though patho-gen ripped the arm band-aid off for his amputation test. it grows back! neat!)
HMM well, Rowan, Northly, and Pom did have to rescue Gale from the results of his experiments, so it sort of depends on whether they prodded him for an explanation
I think he was hesitant to tell anyone who would tell him to stop, but since they saw it first hand it'd be easier to pry it out of him. But they might also have assumed that's just some shit his magic does?
I think perhaps northly's reaction (and she would talk to them about it) might clue them in to it not being just a magic thing. so potentially if they were like "so what was all that?" and he explained a little (not necessarily the whole using katalyth thing)
when they got the data from tighnari from his imprint power experiments they'd know enough to be like "btw you should talk to my mate gale, he's trying summit like that too"
tighnari: well this is reckless and stupid knock it off
gale: where's your arm
tighnari: in that field I'm testing something don't change the subject
ooo that sounds good
When Rowan gets their wolf back they’re going to pick Gale and Tighnari up and shake both of them just saying
Rowan does not understand magic, that’s mage shit, but Gale is highly sus and Northly noticed a thing, and they’re have curiosity as a flaw
So they probably would bother Gale about it, but not necessarily understand his response (except mucking around with magic rocks = bad, don’t do that Gale). It depends on how he phrases it when they eventually bother it out of him
I need to think about whether they’d be cautious on introducing two reckless idiots for experiments, I think it depends on if they did imprint. They’d be more interested in bringing pack/flock together than introducing a bad influence to one imprint (sorry Tighnari!)
tighnari is super responsible..... when it comes to other people. it's only himself he's stupid about, tyvm. would rowan have seen him doing unhinged plant things though? with the hell pit stuff he was very focused on safety and making sure other people weren't recklessly going to charge in.
lots of schedules and maps and shooing people back to karteria to spend time in the barrier
True, if he’s been hiding his dodge stuff from Rowan they’d be more inclined to introduce them. They will also want to know if he’s suddenly missing an arm tho
he hasn't been up to much of it since early days, so it's very possible they wouldn't have noticed! he's back to it a little after the horrors (not coming back to karteria regularly) but that's because the horrors have him traumatised in a way he wasn't expecting
he is going to cut off a finger to give it to dedue, but 1) he knows it grows back now, 2) dedue's wasn't growing back
They might not notice a finger, their alertness/perception is okay but it’s not brilliant, I’d have to roll (and they wouldn’t be 100% sure that he hadn’t lost it to PG anyway.)
But yeah, in that case they’d be fine with smooshing them both together
Yeah it makes sense to handwave Rowan going "you two should talk!"
I think I'm gonna focus on tagging out and not do a top level
I still got lots of stuff chugging along from october (see above meme lol)
But I am also happy to do closed starters
