sounds like a plan to me!! and Emporio tends to bring himself, whatever is needed to survive a region...but maybe now that charting has been done in various places, he's got a map of some kind?

two options here! either they go as part of emporio's equipment / as a mask primarily, or they go as themself

pros of the former:
- very low maintenance (a mask does not need supplies like food, rations, etc, they're pretty resilient regardless)
- can still provide on demand support by just ... manifesting from time to time
cons:
- they are not going to be contributing much on the supply side themself since they can't exactly carry it,

unless we want to start trying to glue things to the mask or something

as for the latter...
pros:
- more consistent presence of a third body! either for packmuling purposes for more supplies or other work that requires physical form, etc (obstacles in way? no problem)
cons:
- they are much more easily fatigued by long periods of time 'manifested', and while they could retreat to the mask,

that does mean whatever they'd been carrying or responsible for will have to fall on one of the other two after they dematerialize

it's either that or they have to take breaks from time to time.

as for what uniquely they bring... as long as their mask remains within reasonable vicinity (aka with emporio) they can leave it behind and wander; can therefore scout from the sky, or phase through otherwise solid objects like rocks, cliff faces, obstructions like fallen trees, etc

(the mask doesn't go intangible with them so someone has to hang onto it www)

they can get into tricky places, so!

oooh! I'm really loving the mask option big time (my humorous side was tickled by the gluing things on Chara's mask. Just they bedazzled the mask before the quest)

Popping in to ask, should Dolly use Dazzling Gleam as a light source for the quest? Almost done filling the form out and will be getting the paste plurk up once done :'>

given that dazzling gleam is depicted as a burst of light, if dolly gets tired of having to sustain it Chara can also probably assist with will-o-wisp

it is fire in the (likely) rain, but it's also spooky ghost fire so if they put some effort into it they can probably keep it burning if/whenever dolly needs a break?

it being spooky ghost fire also means it's probably not quite as bright as regular fire would be, but hey, it's something!

I'm fully on board with tag teaming with the lighting :'D

(Also I love me some spooky ghost lights)
