The impact that teachers can have, positive and negative, is crazyyyyy
That being said, if you don't find reading enjoyable due to previous experiences with shitty teachers, I highly recommend looking for stuff yourself. What you like, what genre you generally enjoy. Reading content you WANT to read helps so much
