So probably one of the most distasteful characters, Happosai, is almost guaranteed to appear in tomorrow's ep. The preview image is the giant panda image, which appears in a Genma face off with Happosai.

Ukyo is also set to appear this season, so hopefully she'll appear sooner rather than later! It 100% depends on what in the series gets shown and what gets cut though, as there's no way they're going to include every story

I'm a little curious about how Happosai is going to be handled, because in the manga and the original anime he was a nightmare. I doubt it's going to be toned down too much but I feel like it's going to be really clear that he is 100% in the wrong 99% of the time to make it a little more palatable for a modern audience

oh I know he won't change much, but I am wondering how the series itself is going to handle him. Like, I'd argue Shampoo didn't really change at all but they changed how she speaks to make it so that her grasp on the dub language still isn't 100% but it's far less offensive than it was

Well, I watched it, and he's just as awful as ever. It seems like they're speedrunning through his intro stuff though, they went through a lot in the first episode of his appearance and didn't try to stretch it out

also the season's halfway over, and these are the plot beats I'm... fairly certain will get covered.
- The romeo and juliet play, that one's in the promo art so I'd be shocked if it didn't
- Ukyo's entrance and with it her setting Akane and Ryoga up on their boat date
- Mousse re-appearing and trying to turn Akane into a duck

not sure if terror at the bath house will happen, but they covered the delivery girl race so maybe?
