I live in Utah in a city about 18,000. So not farm country but not what I would consider a big city. It's surrounded by beautiful mtns.

Thunder Bay, smallish city on the north shore of Lake Superior. it's beautiful in a very wild way, lots of coniferous trees and rock

San Antonio, TX, on the outskirts, but still suburban, this town is pretty sprawling. Our trees are what everyone else calls shrubbery.
