Considering your taste seems to run along the same lines I do with Sherlock media that tells me everything.

Chappaiguardian: I really did think the backlash might just be those who don't like their fave being mocked. but the John Cleese parody is actually funny. So is Without a Clue. this one doesn't have any sort of consistent characterization it's parodying

So I don't mind a bit of parody! But keep it grounded somehow.

There are a few moments that could have been something that go nowhere. the idea of a drunk booty telegram IS funny

So I love Robinhood too. Men in Tights worked because it treated itself as a Robinhood story with jokes. The gags were fun.

I think the main thing is, you've got to respect the thing you're parodying
