I just witnessed, in the wild, young college students complaining about how kids today are messed up and their humor makes no sense on purpose and I suggested they also liked things that made no sense and they were all like, "yeah but ours had a point!"
So yeah we're definitely already there. Love to see it. Still, I went on my soapbox about how the kids were probably alright.
i've also had moments of "but it doesn't mean anything??" until i thought about it like they've just reached a level of absurdist humor i can't comprehend yet
so yeah they're fine lol every generation is messed up in some way anyway

My high schoolers are OVER the 6-7 thing. It's a thing annoying younger siblings are doing.
