the owner so far had been trying to expand, add more shops (bf works at a comics, books and tabletop/board games store), etc, and now because the workers asked for a raise bc they're all barely scraping by (or not at all), he went mad and decided he wants out

and he wants to close up some of the shops he already has (not bf's) and sell the brand

and not be involved anymore

there's no guarantee anyone he sells to will keep the workers they have

nor can anyone vouch for this guy not having another crisis and closing up evertyhing one day

so anyway that's life rn

we were hoping for a raise and we not only will not get it, we might be jobless entirely

on top of this bullshit, the government wants to eliminate uhhh it's called monotributo, you basically pay monthly some taxes and it gives you access to healthcare and retirement money. well, they want to eliminate it and move everyone to the more formal system.

it'd cost from 40K that's the minimum monotributo now to 100K plus paying an accountant to sort it out bc it's way more complex. and no healthcare.
it basically leaves me outside the system entirely, i cannot afford that.

no healthcare would also mean no top surgery unless i pay it from pocket

i struggle to make a couple hundred a month, top surgery costs thousands
