which I haven't done but i have heard reviews that the story/world was an improvement on jkr's general creative mediocrity and the mechanics were fun. that said, hzd replay is probably a better idea! just i have in fact heard it's worth it if it's free and doesn't support her (play in offline mode etc)

Pirating and playing digital copies still gives them intel that the IP is still popular sooo even not paying for it / buying fan made stuff helps her maintain her platform

huh I was not aware of that! I won't buy even fanmade merch cause i don't want to promote it any way but I wasn't aware that they keep track of pirating

my cousin was given it back when it came out and just gifted it to me. while i wanted to try it i still haven't bothered. like, glad it's free but also hnnng. gdi

As someone that sailed the seas for it... it's okay. Like the gameplay loop is pretty fun and nyooming on the broom to get places equally so. The story is also more interesting than what JKR actually gave us, wish it didn't have her brand on it because as its own thing it would have done better.
