I hate how there is no decency with people who hire. Like - you don't even need to call these days. Even just a simple; sorry you're not the right fit text is beyond them
And the thing is, the pressure is awful on the HR end, too. Produce, produce, produce. It's why I hate recruiting. I won't even begrudge someone forgetting to send a basic rejection, if they don't establish a standard otherwise.
I am still sending out applications, as I can. But I got a call from a temp agency today, and I'm going to swing by their office on weds and see what they can do for me. Something is better than nothing.
