Gov owned houses for sale. And cars too and other random shit.
AND to get forclosure listings you'll want to look at the county website. In this state it's under the "Master in equity"'s job - not sure
if that's for every state though
Random thought! Now is awesome for buying, you hooligans!
dude, im the find-o-matic with that stuff. hit me up if you need a hand.
well right now most places are looking for 20% down which i DO NOT HAVE....
but ken's parents are considering buying a bigger place and renting it to us for less than we currently pay... so if that happens
we'll definitely have some room to save more... heh
in the meantime, we've just lowered cost of living all over again.
wtf who does 20% down? i've only heard of that in cali. i only had to come up with 5%, mind you this wasnt that long ago.
i heard about that deal. sounded...interesting.
also, rates the fucking BOMB right now.
yeah that's something we talked about... frickin cali... well, if things start happening w/my dad's company.. i'd be able to move
otherwise i may just start working towards a career...
i dont know whether to be in disbelief, shock, or awe.
hit me up with prospective zip codes you're looking in. you can private those if you want.
well rei is pretty bent on oregon being the ideal place for us... we'd be close enough to see my family/faith... but low enough cost
that we could probably buy something...
i honestly think that it's better to just shift with my family, though... unless i manage to find something more substantial...
if we were to start a family without even the slightest bit of support right now we'd probably end up eating gravel for dinner
also - babies are cheap. ask kina - that's how she sold me on the idea!
they cost next to nothing for the first couple years. the most expensive things are really just the things you ask for from family like
a stroller, a crib and a high chair, maybe a play pen
but maintenance.. the thing leeches off you. it's only expensive because the mom prolly can't work for a year, so there's less income
then day care or family care for a few years if the mom returns to work... and day care isn't cheap...
once they hit 5 or 6 though, the gov't kicks in and the mom has a few hours of freedom... but still not enough to work full time
honestly though - not to blow smoke up your ass, but im 100% confident you have the skills to land you a job making enough to support
nah, that's why being close to family is important for free child care so mommers can work
a household for a little bit.
and that's why I'm trying so hard to make cash while being able to work flexibly at home.
i mean really, for me anyway, having kina at home is the ideal situation. it's a MASSIVE developmental phase.
and once they start school they're gone for huge chunks of the day
toss them into some afterschool program and you're set - life's back to normal. sort of.
yeah we're thinking about it... i mean... like we discussed elsewhere.... not like we've been trying to prevent it ;p
the only thing that's gonna be difficult is schooling for us. im still going to college, and kina wants to start back in another program
and there's no way we can both go at the same time and have a kid. so i'll just be starting/finishing and then since she already has her
degree she can just wait til im done!
there's definitely a LOT of shuffling around to do, but it's not impossible by any means. hell, no offense out there, but there are single
mom's on welfare out there making it happen. all of us have stable jobs. there's no reason we can't.
that's assuming it's something you want in the first place...
lol yeah i don't mind waiting. i really want to do animation once we're in a city that has a good program, but seriously, that can wait
single moms, brad.

well... we've been weighing the options... it's something rei has to WANT... and she does... occasionally... when she sees a cute kid
heh... she hasn't convinced herself yet, though...
lol. but is it due to her own nature or due to your circumstances? that's a pretty substantial factor. im sure she doesnt want to raise
haha... her only tendencies towards sarah/ken are dishes... she pretty much ignores them the rest of the time.......
though i'm more invested in all 3 of them... so that's where the issue is i suppose
I thought GSA was nationally recognized as the Gay Straight Alliance. Oh well .
eh, you know better, adam.
this thread is for looking at real estate, not us comparing principles
I wish I could navigate that site without a headache D:
lol yeah - totally a gov site.
