all knowledge contains value but it is up to the recipient to realize that value. Collecting knowledge is rarely a passive activity.

I would love to take part in your paper. Are you going to do surveys, etc?

do you think people are really "themselves" in a forum where it very easy to be someone else? Maybe not in a deceitful way, but different?

just asking as I plurk stuff I don't say to people, so which one is "myself", the plurk me or the work me or the home me?

that is a very insightful thought wishful, I believe that you really are yourself on plurk. You see I have learned growing up that when...

..you are face to face with someone you are too worried about superficial things and people will act differently in order to be liked..

...and respected, however here on the internet it seems that fear vanbishes a little, because while you are saying things that you wouldnt.

...normaly say, you are actually being more ytourself than you are when in a real world state of mind

its a great idea for a paper, but am not sure that people are themselves here either. in fact it might even be easier to be someone else

I want to read it! I would love to participate in any way with ?'s and surveys, and I really think it depends on the individual whether they

are more or less themselves. I think I keep personal factoids closer to the chest, but thoughts and words are more freely and honestly

offered here.
