apparently you can only 'install' it 3 times, and upgrading, for example, your graphics card counts as installing it

so basically if you reinstall windows/upgrade your computer/reinstall spore because of a problem more than three times,

then you have to call EA customer support (not toll free, long distance) and beg them to let you play the game again

did i mention its $50?

oh, one last thing..the drm protection they used is secuROM, which install itself at root user level and is detected, according to one

person, as malware by their antivirus. obviously, the game doesn't tell you its installing secuROM when you install spore

cracked is always better.... but yeah im not going to get it...if i wanna make an artificial world ill do it in 3d studio lol

Yeah use no-cd hacks to get rid of that and don't use the launcher because it will reinstall when you do
