a bedtime story. My 10yo. wouldn't go to sleep, and had been in there talking to himself for over two hours. First I said, in my 'nice but
serious" mom voice, "it's time for you to go to sleep. after about the first hour, I start telling him to shut up and go to sleep, PLEASE
about 15 minutes ago, I said "Do you realize that you are infringing on your sister's right to get a good night's sleep?"
He was out cold within five minutes.
