thoughts on dinner: whomp up some mayo for tuna salad?Grill up some cheese sandwiches? Omelet with salsa verde? Ice cream? Beer?
latest #14 PittGirl, just for that I'm going to tell you the Taco Bell story.
I used to work in a research lab at CMU; it was deemed a Good Idea to have a weekly budget for lunch, to get everyone together and chat
We had $100 to play with each week to feed ~40 people, so what we usually did is go down to the strip and get a messload of sandwich stuff
One day, one of the lab managers said, "hey, I wonder how much Taco Bell you can buy for $100?" So we found out.
The pile of tacos didn't fit on the table unless we heaped them against the wall. And after lunch was over, there was still $50 worth or so
About an hour after lunch was over, a grad student wanders in, sees the pile, shoves his hand in there, and pulls one out.
"Hey, the ones in the middle are still hot!"
I try not to eat at Taco Bell anymore.
I think you've just made a fine argument for me to have Taco Bell for lunch tomorrow.
