Last Saturday, as usual we got up so early. My parents prepared many things to go back my grandparent’s home.

Fortunately, we didn’t get stuck in a traffic jam and successfully went home.

My grandfather was so cheerful because all grandchildren came back. My uncle brought many cookies, chocolates and wine from India.

We were as busy as bee on these days. My aunt and mother prepared for bye-bye.

Our ancestors believe that we were safe and well because of spirits protect. Therefore we had to do it.

Though I was not very superstitious, but I also revered spirits. After finishing it we had New Year’s Eve dinner.

We were looking forward to receiving red envelope. To my surprise, I received more red envelopes than before.

We set off a firecracker in front of yard. At night, children played poker and adults played mahiong.

Moreover some people were delighted because they won, the other people were sad because they lost money. I didn’t care about it.

The most important is that we can reunion when Chinese New Year.

Nowadays, people seldom get along with relatives.

During Chinese New Year, each other can cultivate relationship. Don’t you think Chinese New Year is a special day?
