I know I've let people assume that about me occasionally, just to avoid getting lectured and because I'm pretty much a go-with-the-flow type

of person, though where appropriate I try to educate people and make them realize that just because an atheist doesn't believe in invisible

magicians in the sky, doesn't mean they are in any way, evil or bad people.

I usually tend not to flaunt my beliefs nor hide them. I figure that's the best way for everyone to get along in our communal society.
