why? i don't plan on having a family so i don't need a lot of space, and a home is a ridiculous amount of constant upkeep

lol, that upkeep REALLY isnt that bad.

and a condo is pretty much an apartment where you dont lose money.

rent is most decidedly the worst long term plan ever, haha.. i mean short term it's awesome, especially for living somewhere randomly

for a year or something.. but in the long run you're just putting money into someone else's pocket. and all house fixes you can get other

people to do for you, and it all always adds to the value of your house, so you get it all back in the end

with rent, you're just.. paying someone else to have all that back in the end. :/

and the tax credits...omigod they're awesome.

i dunno -- seeing all the things my and josh's parents have had to put up with their homes over the years...especially when so many houses

are just built so shittily these days :| it's like there's a new problem to take care of every couple weeks almost

i don't need much so i don't really care if i'm putting money in someone's pocket, plus i'd rather live downtown (in a nice part of it)

hells yeah. i really miss living downtown ;_;

one thing i don't like about right here is that this town isn't really built for sustainable transportation.. if i can put it that way

i can't safely bike anywhere practical

i biked to walmart once and i had to cross our friggin 6 lane super road that has no crosswalk.

and no sidewalks either! arg!
