yup, when the car comes to a stop, the idle won't keep it running. But if I put it in Netural (Auto trans) & hold down the gas a little,

I can keep it alive. It's not the first time the car has lost its idle like this. :/

Battery and alternator are likely the culprits. That's what my car was doing.

last time it was a bad sensor that made the computer go crazy. I just hope it's cheap!

Considering this is what my car was doing, and knowing it depends on make/model, mine was $700 or so after all was said and done.

It could also be as easy as putting some Lucas fuel injector cleaner will clean it up after a tank of gas too.
