I'm surprised more sites aren't adopting gears. Wordpress.com, Remember the Milk, MindMeister (for premium users), and obviously Docs

Any code/programmer oriented people able to shed any light why more sites aren't jumping on and offering offline versions?

I know I'd love to see an offline WikiSpaces, offline Voicethread (for creation), and so on...

gears is great and I agree with teach42 more and more Web 2.0 applications should have offline options

I have done nothing with Gears, but would also love to see offline Wikispaces and VT! Anyone try out Glogster?
